Mowgli and Craig Rivard met in Williamsburg, while cooking at farm-to-table restaurants Marlow & Sons and Diner. The couple moved on to Clover Club where Craig became executive chef. While working the restaurant scene in Brooklyn, the Rivards dreamt of moving back to St. Louis to open a modern neighborhood eatery. Their goal was to bring a little part of Brooklyn back to St. Louis and put down roots in a quaint neighborhood.
The Rivards opened Little Fox in January 2020, and it quickly became one of the most talked about restaurants in St. Louis, boasting a cool ambiance with spectacular food.
"We knew the quality of True, knew the True brand. True not only makes a great product, but they’re based here in Missouri, and that was important for us."
